We have an opportunity for an experienced IT Administrator to join our team in Dublin. As an IT Administrator, you will provide our business units with helpdesk support and assist the IT team with overall responsibilities. Requirements: Relevant 3rd level qualification; Minimum of 2 years’ experience in IT; 2 years’ experience in at least two of the following: Server, storage and back-up technologies; Security- firewalls, AV, encryption etc.; Networking- Cisco covering LAN, WAN, VPN, wireless, VLANs; Administration of VOIP phone system, managed IP etc.; Desktop and peripherals- including imaging, OS etc. CCNA would be a strong advantage; MCP /MCSE 2008 would be a strong advantage. Responsibilities ( Responsibilities associated with this role include, but are not limited to the following): Helpdesk support as part of team for 200 engineering and technical staff over two sites plus limited remote support to the larger national infrastructure; AutoCAD suite support for technical users; Administration of Windows 2003 and 2008, Active Directory; Good Active Directory skills; Administration of industry standard IT systems; Printing and photocopying systems management. Key skills / Attributes / Core Competencies: Strong troubleshooting/problem solving skills; Demonstrate a high level of technical ability; Strong teamwork abilities; Excellent attention to detail; Outgoing, pleasant and helpful disposition; Flexible approach; Ability to work issues to completion; Full, clean driving licence; Good Communication skills, self-starter, assertive, works well under pressure; Builds effective relationships.
