The role will have specific responsibility for supporting companies to identify their organisational growth needs, signposting them to appropriate solutions and guiding them to develop an OD action plan. In addition, the role will work closely with CMD Programme Managers to support identification of company capability gaps and develop appropriate blended solutions to address key needs. Key Deliverables: As part of the delivery of EI’s Client Engagement Model, engage companies in a collaborative diagnosis of the strategic HR and OD challenges facing them as they scale. Using a structured approach, facilitate CEOs and senior managers to explore and identify their company’s HR and organizational growth needs. Support companies to identify appropriate solutions to achieve their strategic HR & OD objectives through agreed initiatives and action plans, utilizing the skills and resources within EI, and external resources as appropriate. Assist companies to drive the implementation of agreed action plans to address key HR/business issues and review actions and output, as appropriate. Share international and SME best practice with companies, and internally within EI, demonstrating how OD initiatives can support companies to scale effectively. Facilitate opportunities for clients to engage with other companies to understand and explore best practice OD approaches, through the development and delivery of relevant programmes, fora, online and face-to-face activities. Support the identification of company capability gaps, across all sectors and growth stages, and work with Programme Managers to develop appropriate blended solutions to address key needs. Proactively direct clients to external sources of expertise, as appropriate e.g. strategic consultants and mentors. Contribute to the development of a series of EI supports to assist companies to address key strategic HR and OD needs. Manage the procurement, design and delivery of appropriate Client Management Development and People and Skills Development programmes, using blended learning strategies. Evaluate and present proposals to relevant EI committees, seeking EI funding for OD initiatives, as required. Functional Competencies: Knowledge, experience and application of best practice strategic HR & OD initiatives is essential. Experience in using a consultative or facilitative approach with senior managers to diagnose or address organisational challenges (at an SME or Corporate level) is essential. Demonstrable experience of working in a strategic HR role including demonstrated evidence of delivering initiatives aligned with company growth is essential. An understanding and knowledge of the key growth challenges facing companies as they scale. Knowledge of a range of services and offers available in the marketplace to support companies to address OD needs. Ability to manage relationships at all levels within an organisation, client companies and with external service providers. Demonstrable experience in the design and delivery of development programmes. Strong project management skills in scoping, managing and delivering projects on time and to budget. Ideally candidates will have knowledge of and/or experience in some or all the following areas: Leadership & management development. Organisational design. Employee engagement. Performance Development. Succession Planning. Talent Management. Recruitment. A third level qualification in a relevant discipline. Note: A full clean driving licence is required for this role. Creates an environment that enables others to excel in terms of job performance. Salary Scale: €41,472 to €59,785 per annum contributory superannuation. Rising to €61,222 by long service increments. €39,482 to €56,883 per annum non-contributory superannuation. Rising to €58,249 by long service increments. Candidates should note that entry will be at the minimum of the relevant scale and the rate of remuneration may be adjusted from time to time in line with Government pay policy.
