Job Title Customer Service Representative
Description

Brennan & Company Ltd is a leading supplier and service provider to the clinical, industrial and scientific professions throughout Ireland. Brennan & Company are seeking to recruit a highly competent individual for the following permanent position:

Customer Service Representative (Full Time - 09:00 to 17:15, Monday to Friday)



  • Proficient with Microsoft Office suite, computer literate
  • Customer facing experience
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills
  • Previous Service co-ordination experience (2+ years)
Salary package will be negotiable dependent upon qualifications and experience.

Job will be based at Brennan & Company offices, 61 Birch Avenue, Stillorgan Industrial Park, Stillorgan, Co Dublin.

Responsibilities & Accountabilities



  • Responsible for processing service orders, ensuring they are tracked through to delivery, delivered on schedule and that sales managers/customers are kept informed throughout the process
  • Deal with incoming sales and service enquiries and day to day customer and supplier calls/emails
  • Log sales & service calls in accordance with procedures
  • Allocate field service engineer to call-out/job
  • Track logged calls to completion
  • Administer Field Engineer Service Reports
  • Handle customer complaints escalating to field service manager, product manager and/or customer service manager as appropriate
  • Maintain and update price lists as required
  • Monitor stock levels and complete purchase order requisition as required
  • Maintain and file records in an orderly manner
  • Maintain a close working relationship with all key parties including customers, suppliers and other departments
  • Other adhoc duties, projects and assignments as needed or directed


Key Capabilities Required



  • Previous sales/service support or administrative experience
  • Technically competent with an ability to understand customer needs
  • Excellent numeric and data entry skills with attention to detail and accuracy
  • Team worker with strong interpersonal skills and ability to communicate effectively at all levels in and outside the company
  • Ability to establish and maintain effective working relationships with co-workers, managers and clients
  • Ability to multi-task, skills in establishing priorities and managing workloads
  • Ability to be flexible and to adapt and work effectively with a variety of situations or individuals
  • Professional who is experienced and dependable with discretion, enthusiasm and a positive attitude
  • Excellent computer skills including proficiency in use of Microsoft Office
