Senior Application Engineer. Sanderson have teamed up with a telecommunications giant to recruit a Senior Application Engineer on a contract basis. The successful candidate will be responsible for designing and implementing new software application, as well as upgrading and maintaining existing applications. The ideal candidate should have a proven track record in application development, strong problem-solving skills, and the ability to work well within a team. Responsibilities: Design and develop new software applications and features that meet business requirements and ensure high performance and scalability. Upgrade and maintain existing applications to ensure their ongoing reliability and efficiency. Work closely with cross-functional teams, including product management, UX/UI design, and QA, to ensure successful product delivery. Write clean, maintainable, and testable code while adhering to coding standards. Participate in code reviews, ensuring that code is consistent, efficient, and meets project requirements. Troubleshoot and debug complex application issues in a timely manner. Provide technical guidance and mentorship to junior engineer's. Requirements: Bachelor's or master's degree in computer science, Software Engineering or related field. 5+ years of experience in application development with a focus on back-end technologies. Proficiency in one or more of the following programming languages: Java, Python, or C#. Strong experience with web application frameworks such as Spring, Django, or ASP.NET. Experience with cloud platforms, particularly AWS or Azure. Expertise in relational databases, particularly PostgreSQL or SQL Server. Familiarity with agile software development methodologies. Excellent problem-solving skills and ability to work independently and in a team. Strong communication skills and ability to work with cross-functional teams.
