Quantity Surveyor. Leinster, Ireland. £Neg + Package. Our client is a large utilities company specialising in the upgrading and installation of utilities acress Leinster. They are currently looking for a Quantity Surveyor with a minimum of 5 yrs experience with a background in utilities and/or civil engineering to join their team. This is a long term and permanent role as the current framework agreement is for several years. Key Responsibilities: Oversee all commercial aspects of the contracts, support site staff in understanding the contract documents in order to satisfy the client’s requirements and maximise sales revenue/variations. Provision of commercial/productivity information to Senior Management Team in order to aid decision making. To manage and support commercial team members. Reviewing weekly productivity of teams. Reviewing weekly profit and loss of teams. Undertaking interim and final valuations for works complete. To manage work in progress and ensuring debtors are kept to a minimum. Preparation of all sub contracts. Monitoring / scrutinising of weekly costs and productivities, and reporting on same. Oversee all contractual issues. Manage surveyors on projects. Desirable: Degree qualified in Quantity Surveying with Utilities / Civils background. Must have experience of different forms of contracts. A proven track record of managing finances and budgets.
